Who are we?
CEREC is an incorporated, non-profit group of horse enthusiasts of all disciplines who enjoy informal and non-competitive trail riding.

What do we aim to accomplish?
CEREC is developing an equestrian trail network of over 70 kilometers in Ottawa and surrounding regions. This trail will be a non-motorized multi-use trail.

Where are we?
The trail will extend from the Ramsayville trailhead, located at Ramsayville Road and Whyte Side, to the Larose Forest east of Bourget. The trail will pass through NCC lands, privately owned properties, and the Cumberland and Larose Forests.

When do we want to accomplish this?
The first segment of the CEREC Trails were opened in September 2004. In the Spring of 2006 we added over 20 kilometers of trails in the Larose Forest and in the Fall of 2006 started expanding in the Cumberland Forest. We are hoping to have this trail completed in the next couple of years with help from club members, trail pass fees, municipal and regional governements, private landowners and local businesses.
